Hashknife Ranch

The Hashknife Ranch is a family run, fourth generation family ranch. We have been in the Quarter Horse industry since 1960 when we stood our first stallion, Mister Cue.

Since then, we have offered high quality Quarter Horses, from show to ranch horses.

Our current bloodlines include foals from our own A Dandy Rawhide, as well as from Von Reminic and our own 2016 AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse high-point winner Metallic Gun. These bloodlines produce impressive results, and the horses we currently have available reflect their quality. See the Horses page for our current selection.

Living history
Established in the 1860's, the ranch has also operated as a trading post along the Santa Fe Trail and a farm, all while under control of the founding family. In fact, the house that serves as the current headquarters of the Hashknife Ranch operation was built in the early 1880's next to the old post that served the Santa Fe Trail merchants and travelers.
